Reduces marks & scratches and protects against soil perforation and erosion. Once floors are stripped, a high-quality sealer is coated across the exposed flooring. Flooring is then buffed to a shine, which extends the visual health of the VCT flooring.

Floor wax historically have been created by organic ingredients such as carnauba wax and beeswax and even other oil extractable plants. In today's commercial cleaning industry synthetic substitutes are more frequently administered to floor treatment.
Floor wax or floor polish as it is also referred as, is an acrylic-based polymer, which is usually applied with a mop or microfiber pad. These acrylic-based polymers are faster and a lot easier handle.
As for applying floor polish to your floors, one has to consider the type of flooring they have. Not all floors can be waxed, or best to keep wax.
Floor polish benefits the wood in two key areas. First is protects the image of the wood, but more importantly the wax preserve the health of the wood. The wax coating seals the porous wood surface while adding protection from future stains, scratches and dents
Terra-cotta and other unglazed floor tiles are typically treated with sealer and wax right after they’re installed. This brings out their color variations, adds a shiny or matte finish and protects them from stains. The wax needs to be stripped, the tiles cleaned and the wax reapplied periodically. Frequency: Every one to two years.
Floors that can be waxed...

Unlike other vinyl tiles that come with a factory finish, VCT needs waxing right after it’s installed. After that, it needs to be stripped and re-waxed periodically. Frequency: Every six to 12 months.
